Now, it has come to our attention that there is a misconception that if you put an iphone in your marketing, with a spaceman in the background, that somehow, it is next gen. A little difficult to understand particularly considering that an iPhone won’t really work with a computer system that is hosted in-house/on-premise.

It’s just amazing that this attempt is actually being used to portray an out dated piece of code as next gen. It’s all very tongue in check isn’t it??? Surely. Now, beware of the iPhone trying to turn a windows based system into the next gen of HRIS. Particularly, when an iPhone is no longer next gen. In fact WAP was being used 10 Years ago to access hosted computer systems. Beware of the lipstick people.

Just to clarify as we have been asked. Venders have a responsibility to convey a real, truthful message in their marketing and advertising, in order to attract customers. To be misleading is not wise. If you keep an eye out in magazines (AUS HR) you will potentially see what the main reference point here is. Any one that buys anything based on smoke and mirrors is bound to find out the true eventually, usually when it is too late.

This really needs to be brought out into the open and the market needs to be aware of pit falls to look for, pits falls that can be open right from the start… misleading marketing.
