Creating a Positive, Enjoyable work environment is the biggest challenge faced by Business Leaders. Whether you be a small, medium or large business, attracting the best talent and keeping is how you will gain the advantage. Though I pose this question, is this just about the bottom line, or, should there be a more humanistic approach to “Why” we are in business. How many Managers and HR professionals know, each day, how their workforce is feeling. Why are they happy, why are they sad. And how can the business contribute to a more balanced productive environment. You obviously need the tools and the vision.

If you show your employees that you actually care about what makes them tick and motivates them, not just within the work environment, then surely, they are going to consider this when going that extra mile for a customer or delivering their next project.

Can we:

  • Provide employees with Payed Family days each quarter
  • Allow employees to do payed volunteer work
  • Introduce Balanced Work-life Programs
  • Use Collaboration tools to foster and promote workplace friendships
  • Promote lunch with a Different Colleague Day
  • Buy lunch for Workforce Each Friday
  • Employee Gift Profiling
