How To Avoid Hiring The Wrong Candidate

Posted by Dr. Zivit Inbar on 6 December 2016

In Dr. Zivit Inbar’s previous blog, she described the recruitment process as being based on four major principles: culture based recruitment, workforce planning, transactional activities and candidate selection. Zivit also mentioned that many start-ups fail because they duplicate the recruitment principles of big corporations and focus their time and efforts on the transactional part of the recruitment process, which should actually only take about 5% of the recruitment time for start-ups. The main focus (around 80% of the process) should be on the selection process.

Posted by Dr. Zivit Inbar on 1 November 2016

e-Recruitment ROI: Manual Versus Automated

Posted by Mathew French on 29 January 2015

Recruitment is an increasingly big data process. However, we're constantly surprised when we hear reports, such as those that Software Advice shared with us in our recent Payroll tech trends Blog, about the continued reliance on Excel amongst HR Professionals. According to their study many HR Professionals are still recruiting for candidates with advanced Excel skills.
