Just read a really interesting piece on 2011 Consumer Trends. Some very interesting information available. Source is a Company Called Mintel. For us, all roads lead to simplicity. One of the main trends is that business are going to be squeezed for margins, particularly in Retail. Retailers are going to have to create events to attract people into Stores to combat the flood of people going on-line. It also says that most people are just going to buy goods when there is a sale. Guess what, there are going to be sales all the time. Clothing is getting larger, this is due to the fact that there are more people over weight. Roof top Gardens are the next big thing. Especially because 70% of the population is going to be concentrated cities.

Now, it has come to our attention that there is a misconception that if you put an iphone in your marketing, with a spaceman in the background, that somehow, it is next gen. A little difficult to understand particularly considering that an iPhone won’t really work with a computer system that is hosted in-house/on-premise.
